Profile
David Canes
Founder/CEO
Wellprept, Inc
Dr. Canes was born in South Africa, and spent most of his life growing up in New England. He did his undergrad at Yale University, med school at Cornell in New York City, then went on to Urology residency at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA. After a 1 year laparoscopy and robotics fellowship he returned to the Boston area where he has stayed ever since. His clinical work mostly centers on minimally invasive oncology. He is a father of 5 boys, and enjoys playing guitar if he has a spare minute. These spare minutes evaporated since he launched Wellprept, a productivity tool for doctors. Now patients arrive prepared, so doctors can start from square 4 instead of square 1, saving time and making clinic days go better.
